This poor puppy was left in front of a vet food shop He kept crying and unable to stand or walk. We had no idea what had happened to him before. It’s clear that something was wrong, and we had to help. We brought him to the vet for checking. Surprisingly, the vet said he has no bone break. The vet suspected that he was just very frightened after a traumatic experience.
The vet gave him a dose of medication to help calm him down Despite the medicine, he continued to cry& couldn’t stand up. Worried about that, we decided to take him for an X-ray After the X-ray, the vet informed that he had no broken bones. He might have spinal cord injury, which affected his nerves.
The vet prescribed medication to help with the pain and inflammation in his spinal cord His name is Lucky. It wasn’t an easy road, but Lucky was a fighter Today he had good progress. He tried to raise his head on his own and eat. He’s able to eat hard food today so we gave him paste. Luckily he has good appetite and is cooperative.
We don’t know what happened with his injection last time. The injection site is abscessed and festering. Today he was able to sit up on his own but still cannot walk. He’s doing very well! He eats well and also is very good at taking medicine. The abscess is still oozing pus, we needed to clean everyday.
The good sign is he’s able to move all his legs now. He still needs more time to be able to walk again. He just took a bath and now is time for sun bathing. The abscess has dried and shows signs of healing. Eventually, he was able to walk again.
It was a moment of pure joy when we saw him run for the first time since his injury. Lucky was truly a survivor, and we were so grateful to have been a part of his journey. Now, Lucky is a happy and healthy dog. He has a permanent home with us, and we love him more than anything.
Today we took him out for the vaccine. He was so scared of the needles and even peed in his cage He will always be our little miracle, and we are so lucky to have him in our lives.
