While scavenging for food, a newborn fox became a victim of human pollution. The unfortunate creature unintentionally got his head locked in a jar, and as he fought to get out, the container’s rim started to squeeze his neck.
The young fox fled the bushes and staggered toward the dirt road in need of assistance after failing to get rid of the jar.
The young fox was aware that people frequently visited this region to hunt for recreation. He had a natural fear of people, but his alternatives were limited at the time. When the young fox noticed several soldiers passing by, he sincerely approached them and begged for assistance.
In this video, we observe one of the soldiers stooping to assist the fox cub in need. As the soldier makes an effort to twist the jar out without harming his neck, the infant makes every effort to stay quiet.
The jar eventually pops off after some effort, and the relieved cub lets out a sigh of relief. The fox then rushes back toward the forest as his dread of people returns.
The soldier asks, “Where’s my ‘Thank You’?” in jest, but he never anticipated the cub’s endearing response! The young fox halts in his tracks and chooses to accept the soldier’s assistance in spite of his trepidation. He stands for a while by the dandelion growth before briefly turning around to thank the soldier for his generosity. How lovely!
